This award seeks to recognize an emerging leader in the plant sciences with characteristics and values that reflect Dr. Norman Borlaug's legacy. The nominee should have a record of impactful and innovative research in the plant sciences or related fields. Finally, the nominee should display a strong commitment to social impact and leadership within their respective research communities and beyond.
The award will be presented as a part of the 14th annual Borlaug Memorial Lecture Series, held virtually during the week of October 19. This symposium will feature a recent World Food Prize laureate. To nominate a recent alumna/alumnus of the University of Minnesota for this award, please complete this form, including a CV/resume of the nominee.
