This lecture commemorates the contributions University of Minnesota alumnus Dr. Norman Borlaug made to fighting world hunger. Each fall, a speaker is invited to give a 30 minute lecture on a topic related to world hunger. This event is organized by graduate students of the University of Minnesota’s Applied Plant Sciences, Plant Pathology, and Natural Resource Sciences and Management Programs, and in collaboration with the World Food Prize Foundation with funding provided by the departments of Agronomy & Plant Genetics, Horticultural Science and Plant Pathology and CFANS.
