This award seeks to recognize an emerging leader in the plant sciences with characteristics and values that reflect Dr. Norman Borlaug’s legacy. The nominee should be a University of Minnesota (U of MN) alum with a record of impactful and innovative research in the plant sciences or related fields. The candidate must have obtained their terminal degree from the U of MN or elsewhere within the past 15 years.
